American born and much beloved Folk artists Edward Hicks has a rather large body of work. A Peaceable Kingdom is one of 61 re-creations he produced of this theme. Though it is not considered a religious image, The Peaceable Kingdom was greatly influenced by the Bible and Quaker qualities. A truly remarkable painting best rendered in needlepoint on the smallest mesh you can manage, but adaptable to 14 mesh if you prefer. This is the smaller of three sizes. Measures 16″ x 22″.
